Seagrass Restaurant and Bar

Many locals say the lodge’s Seagrass Restaurant and Bar is the best place to dine on the island, with its premium modern Australian menu, fresh seafood dishes and beautiful setting. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and bi-fold doors open to breezy waterfront dining areas on timber balconies with views of the ocean.


Guests can choose from the a la carte menu or try the popular buffet, which changes nightly.

Vegetarians are well catered for, with dishes like garden salad with fresh goat’s cheese and cranberries sprinkled with homemade orange and honey dressing.

Popular mains are always fresh local barramundi with king prawns, twice-baked pork belly and juicy herb-crusted rack of lamb. There’s also a pizza menu.

Entrees range from bloody Mary oyster shots to Turkish bread with a homemade dips to scallops with haloumi, pancetta and pear aioli. And dessert lovers can indulge in sweets like the rich chocolate mousse or our homemade Gelato.

The restaurant and its comfortable bar area are open seven days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Themed dinner events are also hosted throughout the year.
